We're getting 53° ready to leave early access. For the last two weeks, that's meant working on how it feels to use every day: a new dashboard home, unified styles across the app, quicker ways to create things, and a much better experience on your phone. We've added some new features along the way too.
The first thing you see should tell you where your day stands.
Your day at a glance: your dashboard now opens with the date and time and today's plan: what's happening now, what's next, and a link to your Planner.
Overview, Tasks and Projects: switch between them with tabs. We'll remember the one you used last.
Adding something new now works the same way wherever you are.
One create form: tasks, projects, deals and contacts now share a layout, with a large title, a description and everything else as a row of chips. Do now and Schedule it in Brain Space work the same way.
Add from the board: hover over an open stage and add straight into it.
Tasks that link themselves: create a task from the header and it links to the record you're looking at.
Your work now looks the same across the app, and more of it can be edited where you see it.
One card style: task, project, deal, doc and file cards now match. Rename them in place, with counts and priority tucked into compact chips.
Deal forecasts: each open stage with a win probability shows what it's expected to bring in, like "Expected £12,000 at 60%".
Edit in the table: if you can manage contacts, change lifecycle, source and assignee without opening the record. Deal values have their own quick editor on cards, profiles and tables.
Choose what you see: a Visibility menu shows or hides subtasks and completed tasks on Board, Calendar and Gantt.
Find unassigned work: filter any task list by Unassigned. Subtasks now show up under an assignee filter too, with their parent named above them.
Milestones: rename them in place, sort their tasks, and add a task from the list.
Gantt: weekends are now shaded, and New task sits in the corner.
Area charts: trends across reports and your dashboard are now filled area charts.
Lines on stat cards: see this period against the last at a glance.
Tidier reports: figures are grouped into sections, and now include form responses, marketing emails sent and inbox replies.
When you do something, 53° now shows you how it went.
Buttons that tell you how it went: a tick when something saves, a short shake if it doesn't, with the error written out.
Dialogs that wait: they show the tick before closing, and stay open if something fails, so you don't lose your work.
Smoother movement: tabs slide, progress bars fill, ticks draw on and stat card figures count up. Menus open instantly. If your device is set to reduce motion, 53° follows it.
Clearer buttons: confirm buttons now say what they do, like "Delete project".
Running your business shouldn't depend on being at your desk.
Press and hold to drag: swiping now scrolls a board. Press and hold a card to pick it up.
A better toolbar: the menu sits in the floating toolbar, and a back-to-top button appears as you scroll.
Headers that stay put: the header now sticks to the top of the screen.
Boards and forms that fit: project and deal boards run edge to edge, and contact headers, links and address fields adapt to narrow screens.
Recent pages: a dropdown beside the breadcrumbs lists the last 10 pages you visited in that tab.
All emails: your inbox now opens on form responses, proposal conversations and emails together, newest first.
A sidebar that follows you: open an inbox item and the sidebar shows that contact's tasks, docs, files, activity and chat.
Search by email: find a contact by part of their address.
Smarter links: paste a URL and we'll pick the platform for you. GitHub is now a link type too.
Easier for everyone: a skip to content link, larger tap targets and numbers that line up in tables.
New organisations now get one clear first step.
Start with your goal: new organisations choose what they want to do first, then get a checklist built for it.
Show me how: each step points to what to press next, and every finished checklist earns a Mission Control medal.
Microsoft 365: connect Outlook Calendar, Outlook Contacts and OneDrive, and sign in with Microsoft. Integrations are now a simple grid of tiles.
Starter templates: begin with ready-made proposals and emails, or duplicate one and make it yours.
Reply templates: save your common replies and use them in the inbox.
Turn into task: turn any checklist line in a doc into a task.
Tag triggers: start an automation when a tag is added to a deal, contact or project task.
Your terms and privacy: publish versioned policies on their own pages. Each proposal signature records the version that was signed.
Proposal preview: see a proposal as your contact will, at desktop or phone width. You can also send yourself a test first.
Comments on ideas: discuss public ideas in Brain Space.
Rename files: rename anything you've uploaded.
Better email: add alt text to pictures, filter a newsletter's recipients, import only opted-in people onto a list, and choose which address a form forwards from.
Address checks: we now check addresses before marketing emails go out and skip any that can't receive mail. Choose Send anyway to override this.
Filtered lists no longer stop early when matches sit further down.
Text pasted into the email builder drops its copied colour and font.
Newsletters use your light and dark logos correctly.
Embedded forms match your website's light or dark look, on a transparent background.
Brand settings now show which link needs fixing.
The delete button on proposal blocks stays put as you reach for it.
The assignee menu now offers the right people on tasks in private projects.
