Tasks keep work connected to your records.
Create and manage tasks from contact, company, and deal profiles. Use labels, priorities, owners, stages, subtasks, and recurrence to keep everything on track.
Open any Contact, Company, or Deal profile.
Use the Tasks area to:
Filter: Tasks assigned to you vs. all tasks related to that record.
Scan status, due dates, labels, owners, and stages.
Click Add Task from a profile or the global Tasks button.
Complete the form and click save.
Automate routines with recurrence:
Daily
Weekly on specific days
Monthly
Yearly
Set an optional end condition (e.g. repeat X times).
When you complete a recurring task, the next occurrence is scheduled automatically.
Open a task to:
Live-edit fields (title, description, due date, labels, etc.)
Review a change log that records what changed and when
Attach files for reference
Create subtasks to break down work
Collaborate with your team using the comments section.
Every task can have subtasks. Subtasks have their own status, files, and details.
Subtask relationships are visible on both the task and its subtasks.
Comments and @mentions:
Discuss work in context.
Mention teammates to notify them and deep-link them into the task.
Notifications:
Mentioned users receive a notification and can jump directly to the task.
When creating tasks from the dashboard, tasks slideover menu, you have the option to mark it as a personal task.
Personal tasks are only visible by yourself, and are great for tasks you don;t wan't anyone else to see.
When creating a task in a personal project (see below), you tasks are automatically marked as personal.
Tips
Use labels and priorities together for quick triage views. Assign tasks to the owner closest to the work (e.g. deal owner for sales tasks). Keep descriptions action-oriented.
Projects group related tasks, files, and people to help you deliver a larger goal or organise your personal tasks.
Think “Q1 Goals”, “Website Redesign”, or “Product Launch”.
When creating a project, choose its visibility:
Public projects: Visible to everyone in your organisation.
Private projects: Invite-only. Only invited members and the business owner can see them.
Personal projects: Private to you. All tasks inside are visible only to you.
Click Create Project.
Select the type (Public, Private, or Personal).
Name your project (e.g. “Q1 Goals”).
Click Create.
Board view: Kanban-style columns (stages) for tasks in this project. Drag and drop tasks between stages, similar to deal pipelines.
List view: A sortable, searchable list of the project’s tasks.
Activity logs: A timeline of project updates, notes, and changes.
Use Board for flow, List for details, and Logs for audit/history.
Description: Add context and scope; supports rich text formatting.
Files: Upload reference docs, briefs, assets, and deliverables.
Members: Add/remove members, change the project lead (this section is hidden for Personal projects).
The Dashboard is your personal command centre.
It surfaces your assignments and communications so you can plan your day without hunting around.

Filter by labels (e.g. show only “Sales” tasks).
Hide completed tasks & upcoming tasks to focus on what’s due today

Click through to view details and respond.
Slide over your task list from anywhere in the app for a quick glance.
Add new tasks fast—ideal for personal or cross-functional reminders.
Mark tasks as Private if only you should see them (e.g. “Chase payroll”).
Set recurrence (e.g. monthly) for routine admin.
Search is the fastest way to navigate and find records across 53°.
Use the launcher to open pages, contacts, and companies without touching your mouse.
Click the Search button in the top bar, or use keyboard shortcuts:
Mac: Command + K
Windows/Linux: Control + K
Use the launcher results to jump directly to core areas (e.g. Customers, Deals, Dashboard).
Type a name or keyword: Select a result to open it immediately.
Tips
Prefer the keyboard shortcut for rapid, mouse-free navigation.
