Keep your terms and privacy policy in one place. Once published, they replace the links in your brand settings on your proposals and forms, and each signed proposal records the version the signer agreed to.
Before you start
Owners and admins can write and publish policies. See Members and roles.
Write and publish a policy
- Select your organisation's name at the top of the sidebar and choose Manage organisation.
- Under Settings, choose Terms and privacy.
- Choose Terms of business or Privacy policy.
- Write the policy. Choose Save draft to come back to it later. Nobody else can see a draft.
- Choose Publish when it's ready.
Each time you publish, 53° makes a new numbered version. The latest appears at /o/your-organisation/terms or /o/your-organisation/privacy.
See earlier versions
Version history lists every version, who published it and when. Choose a version to read it as it was published.
Withdraw a policy
Choose Withdraw to take a policy off your public page. 53° goes back to using the link in your brand settings, and earlier versions stay readable for anyone who agreed to them.
You can't withdraw your privacy policy if you have no link in your brand settings and a live form signs people up to marketing email. Close the form or add a link first.
Good to know
- Policies can't include images, mentions or links to records in 53°, because anyone with the address can read them.
- If you publish a new version while someone is signing a proposal, they're asked to read it and sign again.
- A signed proposal shows the version agreed to, even after you publish a newer one.
