If you're winding an organisation down, you can delete it and everything your team has put into it. This can't be undone, so read what goes before you start.
Before you start
- Only the owner can delete an organisation. An admin who opens Danger zone sees Only the organisation owner can delete it.
- If someone else should make the call, hand ownership to them first. See Members and roles.
- Take a copy of anything you want to keep first, such as an export of your contacts.
Delete the organisation
Select your organisation's name at the top of the sidebar and choose Manage organisation.
Open Danger zone.
Choose Delete organisation.
Type the organisation's slug exactly as shown, to confirm.
Choose Delete organisation.
53 Degrees switches you to another organisation you belong to. If this was your only one, you're taken to set up a new organisation.
What gets deleted
Everything that belongs to the organisation, for everyone in it:
- Its settings, branding, avatar and logos.
- Contacts, deals, proposals, projects, tasks, docs, templates and automations, with their history.
- Every file uploaded to it.
- Tags, pipelines, contact sources and lost reasons.
- Chat, notifications and the activity log.
- Mission Control, including the Moonshot and every Mission.
- Everyone's access. Members lose the organisation straight away.
It also cleans up Google, for anyone who connected an integration:
- Contacts synced to people's Google Contacts from this organisation are removed from them.
- Planned tasks and Mission Control dates are removed from people's 53 Degrees calendar in Google Calendar.
What stays
- Everyone's 53 Degrees account, and any other organisations they belong to.
- Files added from Google Drive stay in Google Drive. Only the link in 53 Degrees goes.
Good to know
- Proposals you've already sent stop opening for the people you sent them to.
- The organisation disappears for everyone as soon as you confirm. Clearing out its data finishes in the background.
- If you want to delete your own account and you own an organisation, delete the organisation or hand over ownership first.
