Reports show you, in one place, how contacts, sales, delivery and your Moonshot are moving. Pick an area and a period, filter if you need to, and pin anything you check often to your dashboard.
Before you start
- Reports are for owners, admins and managers. Anyone else sees "You don't have permission to view reports."
- Contacts needs access to contacts, and Sales needs access to deals.
- Moonshot & Missions appears only if the Moonshot has been shared with you.
Open a report
Select Reports in the sidebar. It opens on Overview.
Use the area picker to switch between Overview, Contacts, Projects, Sales and Moonshot & Missions.
Use the date control to pick a period: Last 7 days (the default), Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 365 days, Month to date, Last month, This quarter, Last quarter, Year to date or Last year. Or pick any range on the calendar.
The area and period are saved in the page address, so you can share a report as a link.
What each area shows
- Overview: key figures from across the organisation, Activity over time and Activity by day.
- Contacts: New contacts, Total contacts, new contacts over time and by day, Contacts by lifecycle and New contacts by source.
- Projects: Tasks completed, Tasks created, Overdue tasks and Projects completed, with tasks over time, Projects by stage and Tasks completed by assignee.
- Sales: Won value, Deals won, Win rate, Average won deal, Open pipeline, Weighted pipeline, Deals lost and Deals created, with Open pipeline by stage, Won by owner, Why deals were lost and Conversion.
- Moonshot & Missions: The Moonshot now, Missions achieved, Missions gone live and Work finished in Missions, with the Moonshot's number over time, check-ins, the pulse and each quarter the period touches.
Filter a report
Contacts, Projects and Sales have their own filters:
- Contacts: Lifecycle, Source and tags.
- Projects: Assignee and Task tags.
- Sales: Stage, Owner (including Unassigned) and tags.
A filtered report counts up to the first 2,000 matching records. If it hits that limit, you'll see a note. Narrow the filters to get a complete count.
Hover over a figure or chart and select Pin to dashboard.
On your dashboard, drag cards to rearrange them.
You can pin up to 8 cards. Pinned cards cover the last 7 days, and each one says what it covers, such as "Last 7 days" or "Right now".
- Compared with: most figures show the change vs previous period, which is the same number of days immediately before. Last month, Last quarter and Last year compare with the whole period before. Month to date, This quarter and Year to date compare with the same days of the previous period. Total contacts compares with the start of the period.
- Right now: Open pipeline, Weighted pipeline, Overdue tasks and The Moonshot now show how things stand today, so they have no comparison.
- Won and lost: deals count in the period they closed, by their stage's outcome. Win rate is deals won out of deals won or lost, so deals on hold don't count.
- Weighted pipeline: each open deal's value multiplied by its stage's win probability.
- Completed: tasks count when they close into a completed stage, so cancelled work doesn't count.
- Overdue tasks: open tasks due before the period's last day.
- Proposals: counted across the whole organisation in your currency. Deal filters don't apply to them.
- Current values: lifecycle, source, stage and owner are each record's current value, not its history.
- Private work: private projects count only for owners and admins. Personal work never counts.
Good to know
- Charts show a point per day for periods up to 31 days, per week up to 120 days, and per month beyond that.
- Heatmaps (Activity by day and the other "by day" charts) always show the year ending on the period's last day.
- A period can be up to 400 days long.
- Once a Moonshot lands or is aborted, Moonshot & Missions keeps showing it until a new one is set.
- The pulse shows averages only, never anyone's own scores.
